Nexus Internship is a program organised by PENHOP (Penang House Of Prayer). This track seeks to equip interest to :
-Cultivate a right knowledge of the heart of Father God
-Deepen understandig of the Eternal Glory of an Intercessor
-Gain revelation a core identity and value of prayer in their personal faith walk
-Grow in their ability to operate in the gifts through prophetic evangelism

First day in nexus internship was simply nervous and exciting for me. I joined this track with Carmen. She was excited very very excited. Let's go all out babe! just dwelling in the presence of God was just awesome. 3 to 4 hours sensing and enjoying his tangible presence was indeed refreshing. God will surely appear when youre sitting there for 3-4 hours. HAHA. Yesterday was introductory and we were divided into groups. I'm glad Im in Carra's group, an American missionary that involves herself in Penhop and YWAM. She was the first person we meet when we entered. She was so friendly.
My group consist of Allison,Aunty cheng cheng, Timothy, (oh no, I dont remember his name from FGA north zone) and Carra! Carra was out team leader. Whoa!
The scaariest and fun part would be the street evangelism and the prophetic evangelism. I can't wait. Im scared and yet so excited! We will be going to love lane where drup addicts, prostitute are. hmm... scary but MY ALMIGHTY GOD is with me and who shall be against me!

Rodney Henderson, Director of International Ministris and a asenior leader at the International House of Prayer Kansas City (IHOP-KC) will be a guest speaker at the internship. We will be given the opportunity to go in iutreach and minister togetehr with ROdney as well as parthner with local churches to organize special meetings as part of PENHOP's vision to connect and awaken worship, intercession and passion for Jesus in the local churches of Penang. Who-hooo!

First day of interview was a complete shock! Equatorial Hotel may look so superb in the lobby but wait till you get down there where the workers work and where the HR office are. Got a shock of my life. With what I am wearing, I was sweating profusely. I had to give up my Sundays if I had to work in the front office(receptionist). God and work! God of course, without any consideration.
But they said they'll contact me if there is still admin job. I wont want to take any after I went back to consider about it. Nah! I dont want to do what I dont enjoy. XD That was my first experience! I was looking at a bigger scale of interview. Not at some yucky worn down office. That was my day.

Yesterday seems like the first day I entered Form Six but now it's all done. I can proudly say that :

I've survived Form 6 Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.

There are no regrets of going in form 6. Even though I mumbled and mourn over getting into form 6 before. The after effect was satisfying. I learned so much that people dont get to learn. My knowledge was... widen. Biology changed my life. HAHAHA. no la. God sent me to form 6 and that changed my life. In conclusion, God changed my life. Teehee. Form 6 is not a bad thing after all.

Now, Im back to business which is lazing around on my bed and stuck on the computer for hours. Looking forward for greater things. So many things I have to do before I die. Well, I dont know when I'm going to die but surely not so soon. Going all out for God before I die. wink! (not afraid to die because I know where am I going) XD RANDOM! but i mean it!

This coming Saturday is christmas. Christmas is here again and i miss carolling and becoming Santarina even though I dont believe in Santa Claus. Dancing a duet with Sarah. The song we dancing is called First Love. We are dancing to a live band by Sean, Joseph and Sheryn. (whoops spilled what will they performing) hee. Australia aunt is back for a month and had been entertaining her for weeks. <3>

Missed Big E camp -Ignite. Went to visit them last night and was indeed blessed by Ps Sandra Chin. Funny Cute little lady that is so passionate for God. Blessed. <3>

The King and I

NAH! here you go. Didnt expect to be in a school play. But, boo! ended up in one. The King And I was indeed an experience. Can I say a once-in-a-lifetime experience? No. But an experience that enables me to practise what I've learn from church. I was indeed blessed and I was a blessing; I can say. HAHA! It was a fun experience where I get to act with people I dont know and people I dont think I can act with. Well, it was very tough and very very challenging. It tickles me when I had to act with people I am not comfortable with. So much more when I had to act as a lover to my so called lover! Ha! Ha! (laugh to myself)

Throughout the whole preparation, there was so much fuss, fights, shouts, cries and everything that breaks a team. Wow, whole lots of drama and live drama on stage and even off stage. (shakes head) A world war, I can say. But, that didnt stop us from making the production a success. Despite the fights and screams, The King And I was a hit, I believe.

On 4th of July, The King And I was performed and executed after a few months of skipping classes and breaking some school rules to practise. Well well well, there was surely loop holes in the play but we did our best and that was already a great achievement for many first timers.

I played the role of a princess from Burma, Tuptim. She was a present sent from the King of Burma to the King of Siam. She was in love with LunTha which was played by Ee Chung Ming(her lover). They both tried to run away.

Something like that la. As you all know, the King and I also known as Anna and the King. Anna was played by my beloved sister, Charisma Suhashini. She was great on the stage. Shone like a star and impressed many. The audience expected it to be just a school play, but it was not just a school play. It was more than that. The talents that were shown by each roles, wow-ed the audience. (clap clap)

Great job done to all. I will never forget this great experience.

Time flies as I grow older. Can I just like terminate my growth? How I wish I could just stop growing at the age of 18. Youre wondering why 18, it is because it's a chun number? haha I dont know why. Maybe I'm considered an adult. Yes, I am. But.... the problem is I'm eighteen and Im still stuck in HIGH SCHOOL for goodness sake. That is what Charis always say. I like so what! Many may question about that. College is the way grown up must be. blah. whatever. Maybe the school uniform is making us look small like kids. I doubt so. With the shirt and the skirt with the amazing blue and white stripped tie, I feel like a professional. Maybe a professional in the making. OH MY GOSH. seriously, I missed those days when I could just laze around by just staring at the computer. Like I said, those were the days. It was when I was busy but not as busy as now. I can hardly close my eyes and just think through my day. it is not possible. There is always something to worry about, either is it maths, school, dance, friends, birthdays... or just simply anything. Stressing myself out with mostly everything around.

'Shut up Koay Yi Lin. Can't you just have a peaceful night just for once.' I would tell myself again and again. exhausted but still thinking of things. gosh. back aches, tummy aches, stiff neck(more often nowadays) and anything you can think of now.

This is roughly what Im going through now.
But, I thank God for his amazing love that pours over me when I need him. although I've got people around me that cares and loves me but that is not enough. His love never fails. His love never ever fails...

i went to the zoo hahaha. well, i call it a zoo because I went visiting only. My dad and mum said they are dropping Mitchy and I to the pet shop to see some pets. I was curious at first. hmm... they wanted to get me a pet, i wonder. That was like impossible because first of all, I hate animals. I mean maintaining a pet. My dalmation is way too much. We went there. Guess what?! They had other intentions. They wanted to buy vases and more vases. As you all know mum and dad, especially dad, loves to do home deco. They adore decorating houses. They would buy piles and piles of deco books and watch super homes in 'travel and living' channel.

My dad even watched my Gossip Girl season 2 to see their decoration. I was like no! he took it anyway. That was my day after church. I enjoyed though. I saw this raccoon that cost 3,800 ringgit. It was tamed. Gosh I so want it as a pet. The visit changed my view of animals. I am so not an animal lover but... after the visit I pretty much adore animals. They are freaking adorable. The bunnies were like bunnies... there were poke-cu-pines! all the exotic pets like snakes, white mice, lizards ( yucky).....

Met a new friend there. Her name : unknown. She was the one incharge of the place. told me stories..... and more stories.

18th September 2009 was the night! show time, i suppose. Our new committee organized our very first event, a dinner! Our current head librarian from 6RD. bangga betul. Gosh. most of the committee are from 6RD. nothing much to say. I emceed for the night. I didnt enjoy emceeing with mr B, though. nah not a big deal at the end of the day. I laughed my ass out with my group of crazy friends. We were the most happening and compact table. Oh ya! if you happen to get out the dinner's recording, you'll see me doing a lot of nonsense in front of the video HAHAHA. thanks to all.

Last but not least, I designed our very own booklet for the night. some guy didnt really did his job(dont want mention his name) and a day before the night, they had an emergency call for doing the booklet. Since I was in good mood, I offered to rush through the night in doing the booklet. I did till 4 am in the morning. That was the outcome.... Now i present to you, 4am stupid booklet(i call it!)

Charlene and I were then discussing about Christmas caroling for Ranjer. Cool kan, we actually have our very own carolling team. Awesome. Typical me, I did not stop singing carols till the end of the day. Charlene said never expose me to carols I will never stop. I love it when Christmas comes. so.. yeah.

seriously what do I think about Ranjers committee.. I think there is no unity in the team at all and the committees cannot think rasionally. No experience I can say. It is very hard to work with such people. seriously. It was hard for me. Our opinions differ and I think we can do better. incorporative attitudes! I hope they can give more support to Charisma, unit leader. Hello, you all are leaders and you all are acting like that. What will you get out of your members. I don't think this will not work out if we continue on like this. I am somehow fed up.

Christian Fellowship was always great as our God is awesome. Pr Victor shared about internalizing the reality of God in our lives. It was another confirmation for me. God is works in many ways. Many many ways.

RECESS REVO! this week for the 'serving the students' day, we did something wacko and just going the extra mile and not worried about the financial issues. We blessed the seniors during the senior break with free drinks!! I am serious, Free drinks in Free School. Anyone that comes to the stall will get a free drink-all paid for. At first I was worrying, but I was reminded by a verse saying that give and it shall be given back to you. We were praying for God to do something great in Penang Free School that day. Maybe the teachers or students will know what are we doing all these for. Indeed God has provide people to bless them. Most of the CF members came and support to bless the students. The students were much in shock on why does this strangers pay for all our drinks. God has given us so much and now it is time to bless others. hundred over cups of drinks were paid by us! I feel so good to bless others with our own pocket money. hehe. We are suppose to wash the principal car and also all the PK HEM and Ko Ko Lee's (Kokurikulum teacher : Lee ewe im) car but they werent in school. All equiped and excited but no chance yet. Praying for a chance to bless them, how much they hated him but we are showing that we're different from the others. Through this thing, God has provided us with people. Non Christians coming to join recess revo and we will soon see God working a miracle in their life, I pray.

This wasn't the first time. We had been picking up plates after they have left it on the tables. We were helping the stalls owner and also picking up their left over jobs. The students were asking why are u so free to do all these. Indeed God has came down as a human to do all these for us. for example he wash his disciple's feet.... we humbled ourselves and serve the students.

We want to be RADICAL christian that goes the extra mile!

Fickle minded, I am! Torn by both sides. Oh gosh. Choices again. I went to Chung Ling and undecided i am. Sat there like a fool with tears stuck in my eyes. The songs in the morning made my tears flow like a flood. Hiding my eyes from the sight of my classmate. Isolated I am and how lonely I didnt imagine it could be. Help me oh Lord! I survived the first lesson and I broke down at the second one. After much complication, I got back to the place where i belong. I went back to school, Penang Free School, carrying a wide smile with tears of joy in my eyes. Surely that was what I wanted in life not some miserable life in form 6. Sanguine can't be left alone; true enough. I totally enjoyed my day with my class mates. Feeling like a superstar the whole day as everyone was surprised of my presence in PFS. LMAO. They greeted Regina and I with joy. Joy is what I need in life. Thank you beloveds.. In the afternoon, had our very first sports practise. Cheeseman I am! *screams* GO CHEESEMAN!!!! GO GO!! Had so much fun. Running with them and being the only one running behind and being accompanied by Thina haha. Cheat me la, slow run konon! sprinting in a speed of light. I was as slow as a tortoise. They were as fast as lightning. buush---- HAHA This is my life, the people! Thank you very much people.

Choices again. 2 days in chung ling may be just enough. The environment was totally not suitable for regina and I. It was back to the old primary days. Those chinese school days. I'm not talking bad about chinese schools but... I may get used to be in an english school for quite some time. It has been my lifestyle for the past 5 years.

It was not a bad choice afterall, It was because I found back my long lost primary best friend. She left me during the 3 grade. Now I'm so happy to see her, so very happy! Every time i see her, I think of the past. We used to fight and quarrel and yet we were so close. Those were the standard 1 days. getting back to know my formal primary school mates were great! At least we had something in common, our Primary School. Btw, I may look like an english educated chic but I'm a chinese educated girl; well, at least it was before. But I'm proud to be chinese educated once. hehe. I was Union Primary. A shock for many. Yeah until I went into Convent Green Lane.

Union Primary and Convent green Lane have moulded me to what i am today! Thanks to the teachers that have caned me and scolded me and made me cry(primary days)! lmao. Thank you.

For all that have not known, I was placed in Penang Free School for form 6 since last may as it was the ultimate choice for a convent green lane girl to go. Schooling there was quite a pleasure, as the students there were welcoming enough as they were friendly. Or maybe we were just girls. Special treatment; i suppose. Besides that, the teachers were funny (especially Pn Kanmani, my form teacher and a P.A teacher-love to threaten us with her super duper curses). Yes! Penang Free School is cool. But I soon had some complication with my parents about the school. I was so reluctant to leave school and friends. It was a total burden for me to leave.

When it was time to send in my application for transfer, it was not a choice actually. Soon, I finally reminded myself about my purpose in school and in form 6. At first, "my" first choice was StGeorges. (it's more of "their" than "my") but now, it was Chung Ling High School. okay great as in not so great. Days passed and I was ignorant about the transfer thing; as i was enjoying myself in PFS! But, I knew that there was still a choice to make. I can't escape it. Soon, that day arrived, i heard from Regina that there were only two individuals that have gotten in to chung ling. I was shouting with joy ;maybe just a bit. I was happy too because I thought only the smart ass could get in to chung ling while someone dumb like me could not. I was angry because it pretty much became an insult to me before that. But out of no where when i was out with my chics, a phone call came. It was my mum! I was informed that I was in the list of the applicants for chung ling. To my utter surprise! totally! I rejoiced for being qualified.

Now I'm sitting on the fence! It was between friends and studies. Who do I choose? What can I do? What is God's plan? Is it the best for me? What will my friends think of me? .... Questions was bombarded in my head for the whole week. A choice was what I had and that was what I needed to do which was making the right choice. I slept over these situations a few nights. was it my choice or His(God) choice? I dont know! I am an indecisive person; really. So, making a choice was the toughest thing on earth. Opinions didn't help much at the end of the day. It was my choice. It's the same in life. There are so many choices to make. I needed a start, this is a very big choice that i needed to make. Life is full of choices. God gave us freedom to choose. Finally, after much complication, I've made up my choice to leave PFS and go to chung ling. I'm sorry for dissapointing my friends, I don't mean it really. I love you all as much as I love the school but I did it for my future. I did what is best for me. I may sound really selfish but I'm sorry. I am! I really do.

Last decision was made and sadly to say that my last day was the day before the holidays. I love you all. I'm sorry again.

Penang Free School has surely left a mark in my life and everyone in there! The teachers i surely do miss. It may be just a short term relationship with them but I surely have bonded just that two weeks. I love you teachers. Penang Free School is an excellent school, that I can not deny.

A total new start for the day today. It was not the usual routine we had been doing the past few days for the orientation. Something we had never experience before in my life; at least! It was my very very very very first long assembly in our new school. I would want to emphasize the 'VERY' word as it was what i meant REALLY long. Stood before us a huge spectators of teachers watching us burn under the scorching hot sun. That was their usual co-k day assembly. The grand opening of the assembly by the school band playing our national anthem and our state anthem. It was an unusual sight for most of the CGL girls. This is because compared to our school, we don't have all those canggih school band which plays the band every week. It was WOW. i was amazed and stunned by the abilities and talents and also the passion! After being amazed by the combination of different instruments being put together, finally the assembly has begun. Dummy looking people all stood there in the big field like fools. I stood there fidgeting all the while. Oh my gosh! i tell you, I almost fainted. Now I knew that CGL assembly is way way less troublesome than this assembly they have been suffering all theese while. Still Cglians complain their ass out about how suffering is assemblies. Nonsensical. TOTALLY! bring them once to penang free... they will never complain about CGL assemblies any more. anymore in their lives.

Ok. The problem of us complaining the whole assembly was not the heat or whatsoever, it was the prize giving ceremony. I didnt expected them to win so many medals and it took up the whole assembly just by giving out those medals and certs. and can't they just take pictures after the assembly. They can take all they want, but they rather let us stand there and watch they vain. ish! It went on and on and on.... never ending. Mumbling on when will it end.. whispering among our selves which we could not resist of not doing so. man! save us from this misery. mumbling. mumbling. and mumbling. and finally.... after long mumbles and humbles and all, assembly ended with a grand finale. OMG! my song of the year, Penang Free school rally. with much enthusiasm, I sang with the remaining ounce of strength left with fire lighted in my eyes. The band was awesome. I just can hardly believe it! everyone on the field had that expression of "finally.." on their faces, included me! a big finally on my face. That was the end.

But suddenly a few fat prefects as in not the fat fat but.. berlagak dumbos stood before us and gave a shout. I was what on earth again. Spot check, i whinned. They commanded as if we were a bunch of armies. Excuse me miss we aren't no something for u to command us about. *pissed* They continued with shouts ; FINGER NAILS! and checked us from head to toe without mistake with every bits of details. then, There came a super berlagak prefect walked with head held very high, observed strictly and trying to spot out anything to find fault with us with. Yesterday she found fault with Caryn's hair. Today, the victim was our innocent cute adorable laura teh haha. Laura used turquiose hair band. She was totally confident getting laura into trouble. She shouted at laura : *Turn around!* infront of the whole lower sixth form girls. can u imagine that?! what... the... we were pissed how could she? her attitude was totally unacceptable.

And guess what?! Her hair band was the same color as laura! She thinks prefect very great ah now?! Not we don't want to submit to her but her attitude gave her away. How could u receive respect when you don't even respect us! We are not slaves my dear. We went back to the hall with papaya face. Once she mistreat one of us, all of us will be affected. Everyone was buzzing about this matter and about how bitch she was ( that was how they refer her to) Spread to many as we were so pissed.

Shobana from my school was also affected by that.She then went up to her and commented about her hair band as we were not satisfied at all. Her replied was 'it was a different blue!' *as if* as if we were colour blind or something. For goodness sake! It's the same. Fine then Shobana commented about how fancy her hair band was. She pointed out the butterfly on her band. She manipulated Shobana and convince that it was neither fancy. and Shobana walked off. That peacock face prefect then was not satisfied with shobana as she pointed her out her band and then she came and find fault with Shobana. She was a girl with revenge. She came and told Shobana that she remembered her nails was long. It was so obvious that she was finding fault. ish! she then went up to Shobana and asked her what school was she from; she said with pride of course. Convent Green Lane; she uttered. and her replied really amazed me : she said ' NO WONDER LA!' this really gets me on fire. how could she?! is she like brain less?! and Shobana replied her straight to the face! actually Shobana continued her sentence. " No wonder la...... my (as in Shobana ) academics is better that you (B-F) " whoa! I think it silenced her! She thinks she's so great. Btw, she was from hamid khan. come to free school berlagak!

Everyone saluted Shobana. That prefect just need the smack on face for once. Please respect us for goodness! that is all we need and ask for! We respected first but she didn't! That was the balasan.

That went on and on the whole day! and yes... we had tour to the school and guess what. I spotted KOAY ONN HUA as in miss koay, famous chemistry teacher in CGL in Penang Free's arkid! ancient! She was in the news paper! 8A's for their so called SPM i suppose which was. super tough that time. Whoa!

and ya, I was also pissed with the co k teacher. Omg she annoys me and she will be my Biology teacher soon. um... she repeats and repeats the same old thing. I didnt know co-k also got so much to talk about. LAME!

you would be wondering why on earth I would even post Penang Free School's rally. Well, happy am I and yet worried for being placed in form 6 as I am indecisive on my future plans. That is why I'm attending form 6. No questions on that anymore! i'm pretty sick of people asking me why form 6. I've made up my choice. As for a very proud-to-be-student from Convent Green Lane, It's always CGL to PFS thing! I was being a little kid again for the first day of school. Nervous and up to my toes being very excited! My first day of school was really silly as in the fun silly because... well, it was fun with crazy people like Janice Ooi, Charisma a/p Puan Ruby! LOL. And ya the best part! The school song is fantastic. This is the best school song i ever sang and heard so far. I sleep singing, I bathe singing, I eat singing... Haha! WOW. people there are awesome but the teachers there are surely a bore. except for some super gay teacher that is so great! haha. Im super lazy to blog! overall, I had fun!

My very first experience in the real world like everyone else, which is to earn money! I had so so so much fun! first day, Soon Chern, Pei Yen, Jian Wei and I were working together! So so much fun with those supervisor and 'boss', terrance and eric!

Working with them was the best damn thing ever for a start! I love them. singing, dancing and doing stupid thing while working... hehe. craziest people ever! No stress at all. I totally had fun.

WAVE challenge 2009
19 th March

That was just a quarter of the stadium. According to the organizers, there were about 600 over participant in that stadium.
The games consist of floorball, captain ball, skittle ball and ultimate frisbee.

It was surely a blast that very morning. I woke up reluctantly to attend this event. I thought it would be a total regret as I was not comfortable in leading our second group Frontliners Fiorano. I was so called the experienced one as I totally disagree with that. Anyway, I went there with a heavy heart. At the end, it wasn't so bad after all. We lost all our games with full of pride. Totally! well, it was because we didn't get beaten flat as in 7 - 0 which others did before. We were defeated by the champions and the second runner up! My group consisted of both top teams! But I was glad It was merely one or two goals difference. I was totally proud to have them as my team mates. They didn't gave up and they had fun which is the main point. I'm proud of them which i was telling them the whole time after all the matches.
After all my matches, I was totally pleased and i started to cheer for all the teams. From quarter finals to finals, I sat there on my bum screaming my ass out. I would even cheer for both teams because they are all my friends. I love floorball so much because it is like a whole new family in floorball. family fighting against family and end up with tears of laughter even they got defeated. It was a very touched moment I could not forget. Unforgettable moments with other teams.
And the problem I'm facing now is..... I'm having a terrible sore throat!!!! blah. resulted from all those exciting and intensive moments as they tossed the plastic ball around. Esp. those bergaya shots from Kao Cui Lin. Superstar of the day! Super gaya man! Congratulation to all the teams.

It was just merely fun and we stated that if we dont dare to wear it, there is no more chance to do so when we are old! so why not give it a try. Who cares what people will think. We are here to have fun! and pure fun! Anyway, we gave it a go~ Whoa! I was so excited till I couldn't sleep! Who will be as crazy as us I thought. discussing how could we do with our long fb socks. Sarah suggested on the ears like bugs bunny. And finally, we decided to wear it on our arms as powerpuff girls dont have fingers! Great idea from Sheryn. we were transformed that night and everyone was in shock to see us. and I heard it was according to teams and both my bubbles and blossom are from contact and I am from frontliners. Sophia then had to join us too as she was one of the contact too! HAIH! i felt left out! But Sheryn said don't worry about anything. She'll take care of everything! I was convinced and care less! As they announced the winners.... 2nd runner up.... well, I thought it was just one first placing. fine then we had the chance, I wonder. 2nd runner up goes to... *drum rolls* KAKI BANGKU : USM minden unihawk. WHOA! I screamed in my heart as I was nervous. I didnt thought of winning really. 1st runner up, heart pounded faster which I don't know why.
The.... POWERPUFF GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was speechless in whole. We won? I slowly reminding myself that we won and got up together with our mojojo-jo, Sophia that dressed up at the last minute with Sharon's goal keeper helmet. And the people cheered! I smiled and received the prize. Thank God they didnt announced us as contact team! They knew I wasn't in it. Thank you to the organising team! Champions goes to some girls that just wore some basketball jersey. they won because it involves the whole team of theirs. Anyway, our prize was 100 bucks of COFFEE BEAN. Whoa! Less man more share! The champions have so many of them! It was worth it after all! After all the embarrasement we thought. Did some vaining as we were the superstar for the day. hahaha!

I would want to testify more about how great is my God during the mission trip, he was my strong pillar! If you all don't know, I'm someone that cannot resist pressure and stress. I would either cry over it and surely to give up! I thank God that He had prepare me the last 3 months in order to survived through the mission trip. Mission trip wasn't exactly stress stress but the sleepness nights with the buzzing of the gigantic mosquito in my ears. My eyes couldn't take it till the day that we reached Kota Kinabalu. I woke up with blood red eyes that made me like a vampire. I could hardly recognize myself. And I knew that night was our graduation night in Sabah. My voice turned the back on me, a very hoarse voice. " Man, I'm the mistress of the ceremony!", I scream silently. I cant do the emcee-ing alone! I was upset, tired and stress out. So many mocks up to do. I played an important part because all the talking was done by me. Last minute changes on my script, the place ran out of electricity that freaks me out, changes, changes and more changes. I know I couldn't do this myself! I could'nt! Once again I cried out for help to the Almighty God! God was putting me to the test, let me fall and let me realise my mistake of not depending on Him. I learned the biggest lesson of my life that was to be dependent on God!
The sun sets and darkness roams the earth. While the reflection of the moon shines on the land where we set our foot... It was show time!!! I felt a cold in my spine. I was terribly worried. wandering around with my script and my stupid eye glow and eye mo! ahhhh! people are out there. I should be out there serving. My eyes.... I prayed and prayed! and finally when it was time, I went out and gave my best! I thank God for the refreshing spirit that moment. I got the microphone and did my thing. It went absolutely well, I suppose! yes! It went smoothly. I was glad and it was God that gave me back my voice for the moment. It was as if, I was perfectly well and no one knew I was sick. I could smile like nothing had happened because I believed that God was there with me doing what I was doing with me!

Oh my gosh. finally! Finally! Finally, after 5 hours of uploading and processing...
In SYM, we were thought to do directing, video shooting, scripting, lighting and everything that is to do with video production. We were given two days to complete this project that we given on the spot. two days to edit and produce the video! I remembered my team had to stay up till 7.00am to edit this project! So, appreciate it!!!!!!

my apology on not updating my blog. Well, it had been 3 months since i pretty disappear from sight from the real world. Everyone would be wondering where were I, did i die in a car accident or even killed myself out of boredom. well, the reason is that i attended this 3 months Christian NS which was known as School of Youth Ministry. So much to talk about the amazing 3 months with my Sabahans brothers and sisters-in-christ which i dearly missed.

The utmost perfect highlight of the entire course was 2 weeks of mission trip to the land below the wind, Sabah. The trip there was beyond description. You wont know how i felt until you experience it yourself. It was just being with the Lord! His miracles. What I have to say is how they live life and how we live our life. Their lives can be described with one word which we call : Simplicity! Lack of supplies weren't their problem. They live life to the fullest even without what we have right here. Not to compare them with us but... it was just simply amazing! The smile on their faces that comes from a sincere heart. It puts a smile on my face! One of the village I went to, had a badminton court which mostly all the villagers gather there for sports everyday. whether is it watching or even cheering, they are there. Everyday! The kids there do this everyday which is bathing in the river but for us it was more like a swim in the river, the rocky river. They can dive in the river. So wee they were, naked. playing with the mud and having a whale of time. I was down in the river with them. The strong current that really wiped me down the calm waters which flushed them down the river. Whoa! First time in my life bathing in the river which none of you i bet would have the chance to do that. That was because I was in the interior of Sabah. I bathed in sarong in public! Wash my own clothes like on television, on the rocks. What an experience I went through! I was touched to see how God used me in this mission trip by blessing them with what God has blessed me in this 18 years. Oh ya! barbie dolls, teddies, toys and more toys are our toys right!? and guess what their dolls are baby rats! and i mean it baby rats! the one we find it in filthy spots. oh my! a little girl called 'bi bi' was my little sweetheart and she was always carrying something in her palms. I was then the teacher in charge that day, while she was coloring she handed me that 'uh' alien. I couldnt show my face and yet i took it! omg. It was scary. A is-to-be enemy was in my palm. Gosh! disgusting! I didnt complain though which I expected I would! They took care of it like a little girl would take care of her barbie doll. That was them!

One experience I went through was simply God's work, He was so real. As some people knew my bahasa melayu was the weakest thing and mostly i would go 'ya!' and 'oh tidak' . well, I failed in my BM all the time, Pn Pramot, my BM teacher knows best! The terrible thing was that we had to communicate with the vilagers there only in BM! I had to tell Bible stories in BM. Share my testimonies in BM! It was an enormous language crisis for me. I could even count with ten fingers the number of words i spoke in BM while im in Penang. First day was a challenge because I had to minister and pray in BM! I couldn't, I told myself. I was trying very hard by myself. I couldn't! I cried so badly because I couldn't utter words in BM. I was upset because I can't. I couldn't. I would't. But when I almost gave up, I remembered what I used to confessed with my mouth which is I can do all things through God who strengthens me. the verse kept ringing in my head. I can't do it but God can!, I mumbled. The very next day, before we did ministry time, I utter a short prayer and asked God to use my tongue and give me the right words. To my utter surprise, I prayed smoothly in BM which I couldn't do it the other night. I prayed like it was like my first language. Who else can it be but God! God surely gave me the right words to speak into her life. Every night God gave me the words to speak and I even spontaneously prayed for a little boy that was then suffering from a terrible fever. Puji Tuhan!

I've been also really adventurous which I was no choice but to be one. well, I had eagle's meat which was prepared as eagle's soup! Oh my gosh! the endangered spesies was just been trapped and cooked and was made soup for my breakfast! The reason the eagle was being caught was because their chickens were missing and it surely weren't my team mate, nethanel who curi the ayam which pastor would tell every village we go to. the chickens are like treasures to them so they set a trap which was a real trap like a boogie trap to catch the culprit! Ha! Such a coincidence, the culprit was exposed when we got there that evening.

And ya, I was high with mopiko which is cream that so not relieved mosquito bites! I was addicted to it because the bites were extremely irressitable! lmao. It was my greatest fear! Indeed it was. There were also embarrasing moments... funny moments... crazy moments, fun moments... sick moments... which you would need to ask me your self. hehe. Oh ya! I went for snorkelling that gave me a tan that peels which is called sun burn that also colors my skin color with shades of colors.

Lastly some words to my beloved siblings :

Matthew : Oh MY! NO! I forget how to do the multiplication liao! I missed doing that with you!
Kevin : Mr piggy! I don't miss you! that would be a joke. ahh! BABI!
Nethanel : Net! my konon curang eh boy friend! lmao. I miss the melatar-ing! wei I'm influenced! I'm melataring in penang too ish!
Bernice : no more medicure pedicure ! My nails are ugly without you! haih. I missed your presence. No more hip hop in my life since you left. I still can't do the 'style'. I can do freeze for sure. Yay! Yay! I miss you! next time do more random calls like you did. yes! it was the wrong time to call! haha! I love you sister! hugs and kisses.

tears of shock; tears of overwelmedness;
well, somehow or the other there is tears shed in Convent Green Lane today. This is the day, this isn't a nightmare nor isn't it a merely a dream. The day where all of us are gathered in one place and wept. My heart was pounding and my heart skipped a few beats. Tears flowed down like a stream of water. It was soon gushing out when it was a distance away from my nightmare. I dragged myself into the room where my first year of secondary life began which was my 1 Merah class room. That was the room I first and last stepped into.

I got my results and i wept! 'and Yi Lin wept.';sounds familiar? haha And Jesus wept.

First and last thing i would like to do is to Thank God in everything he has given to me. He helped me so much and he is Awesome. He was my pillar during my examination. So, nothing to cry about now. Thank you God!

this session I went through was entitled creative communication. No doubt it was actually public speaking. Well, the 'hot drugs for sweaty palms' i get to learn about it.I bet u have no idea on that. And many other ways to present a good presentation. My lecturer was from the intel company, Mr Eric. Indeed, he was a professor training engineers on presentation skills. It was an honor for him to give a 2 days talk for us.

One of our assignment was to give a presentation on any topic. I was ideas-free. I did not have anything on my mind. It was a 'one day do-or-die' project. I struggled between time and emotions. I was exploding with flames and larvaes. It was indeed an intense moment. I can hardly be able to deal with emotion when conquered by stress. I was worn out by the long day. It was past bedtime too.

But my best-est bro came to my rescue,Jon. while JianWei was giving me motivational talks. Indirect motivational talks. He's always there to support.Thanks a million wei. btw, Dont be jealous ah lmao. I ended up with time management. yeah. The most embarrasing thing was my notes were flying all over. It was awkward. I was wearing a dress and i had to pick my notes from the ground a couple of times. It was an ungirlie thing to do. Indeed it was. I stumble, I mumble, thank God i didnt tumble.lol. Heels was also a torture that day. aches aches aches. Overall, I rated myself with 5 upon 10. It was my very first presentation. I think I could do a better job if there weren't distraction. It wasn't my best. Mr eric gave me a score of 8.6 upon 10. while the highest which was Matthew, got a score of 9.2; if I was not wrong. He was a born presenter; quoted by Mr Eric. Fuyoh! I wish I could be one. LMAO. I enjoyed all presentation like Juan did a presentation on 'How to make a HAMBURGER' while Li Mei did 'How to stay awake in class'! Cool.

My beloved blogger and readers,

My apology on the slow updates as I'm too indulge in my School Of Youth ministry programs. The past weeks were like roller coaster rides. It was indeed extreme but still I had tons of laughter with the team I'm with. New friends, new jokes! yeah. But something in my life was lost. It was all my dearest beloved babes I miss all of you! I miss my friends. I apologize for not being there at times. Sorry Karen and Cheryl. sorry for not being able to hang out. This three months will be superly intense. So much to do in such a little time. Will I survive? ; i ponder.

I'll be gone to Sabah at 23 March till 4 April. 2 weeks in the interior of Sabah. Something you will never imagine which I've not been able to imagine yet. I know it's gonna be a one-time-experience in my lifetime. First time experiencing missions. I'm pretty curious but there are fear in me that scares me.

Oh ya, I went paint ball the other day. It will be the First and the last time. No way paint ball will i do. Paint ball is so violent. Gosh. I was traumatized by the gun and the shooting. Lord, help me!

Then we went canoeing. Mr Nethanel was strong! He was strong. well, He was strong. Canoeing was fun. It wasn't my first time but I had a whale of time. Thanks to Pr Edward and Penny for the 3 awesome days of team building. It pushed me to the maximum. Especially those long run up the air itam dam and those 810 push ups. man.. It was ... undescribable.

I'll be back to upload more photos and updates about my life. So far ; so good.
